Are we qualified for the life we want for ourselves?

Sometimes it feels like a question of the lifetime. A question that many people spend their entire life answering, while only few succeed.

Even the people that are in other’s eyes, “famous” or “popular” or “have their dream life”, live an ordinary life…..barely…..many of them are addicted to drugs, and sadly, some end their lives living that “dream life”. It’s hard for some people to digest/believe how the people with these statuses can have an unsatisfying life, doesn’t it?

Sure, to the people who don’t have this sort of life, it looks like it’s an exciting, marvellous, extraordinary life that only a few of us can imagine. Not only hard to achieve and get, but also unimaginable and only can exist in a fantasy world. However, if we take a moment and think about this, what could be the reason behind it?

By doing that, we might start digging into the kind of world it’s destined to be. Going by the present, it might not feel like it’s going to be a good one, but let’s talk about it a little before we get too deep into this to judge it harshly!

Why could this be that those high life celebrities, people with luxurious and amazing lives (that can afford anything one can imagine) need drugs to get through a day? Why do they get addicted to them, why do some of these “heroes” start acting crazy just to get some attention?

This isn’t something unusual. Some of the things here can tell us about how the lives they look from far away, might not be the same when you get up close. We all know people or at least heard of people like the ones we just talked about above.

Why could this be? When Life looks good?

If you think about it, we all have a social image and something to protect or say, live up to about that image of ours. Where we all have our dream life in our little fairyland of our imaginary personality. This is where the gap comes from, the imaginary personality and the real personality.

Now when it comes to popularity, the people don’t really care about the imaginary personality of someone. They go by what they like about them and the qualities that they can relate to the most. But this changes from people to people and it changes the reasons about why they like that person/hero/celebrity.

Life is Hard, for everyone

Life is something that is automatically imagined is hard for an everyday “Working Joe” while it’s super easy for the celebrities. While it’s all the matter of perspective due to the unsatisfactory “misery cycle” that everyone lives in, no one is superior. It’s very hard to find satisfaction in one’s everyday life because with the basic instinct to stay greedy all the time, only some people are able to get out of the cycle and actually be happy with whatever they have.

Once one can find the satisfaction with whatever they have in present, life stops being a suffering and starts being a living. All we need to do is keep telling ourselves that we are qualified of all the amazing things we have in our life and any more would just be an excessive amount that isn’t necessary.

Qualification Equation

One way to teach ourselves that we are qualified of all that we have and start feeling the happiness that everyone is searching for, is to stop looking for more and start enjoying the less. Only if the heroes/celebrities that have that living on an expensive yacht/beach-front mansion, also had that feeling that they are qualified of the happiness, attention and fan-love that they have received, they wouldn’t be dealing with so many emotional problems, loneliness, feeling less qualified, depressed.

Make this your qualification equation that whatever you have is enough, you are where you are because of the hard work that you have done in the past and you deserve every tiny bit of it. You don’t need any more to be happy. Because happiness is something that comes from the inside to exist in your life, not the other way around. Think about your present and be grateful for every little thing that brings you joy. There are people who are less fortunate than yourself who don’t even have their basic needs being fulfilled. I

Conclusion

There are people in some areas of the world where they don’t get enough food to survive through their day. There are people who don’t have shelter, families to love and care for them. They don’t have a good bed to sleep on. Be thankful for all the blessings that you have in your life. If you start living your life that way, your physical and mental health will improve, you’ll feel happier in your everyday life.

Remember, improving your everyday thinking is the key to improving your happiness and in the end, improving your Life!
